The U.S. Office of the Treasury’s Business of International Property Manage (OFAC) imposed sanctions from a dozen people serving executive and senior leadership roles at Kaspersky Lab, a working day just after the Russian enterprise was banned by the Commerce Division.
The shift “underscores our motivation to be certain the integrity of our cyber domain and to guard our citizens versus destructive cyber threats,” Beneath Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorism and Economical Intelligence, Brian E. Nelson, mentioned.

- Denis Vladimirovich Zenkin, Head of Corporate Communications
- Marina Mikhaylovna Alekseeva, Main Human Means (HR) Officer
- Mikhail Yuryevich Gerber, Government Vice President of Purchaser Business enterprise
- Anton Mikhaylovich Ivanov, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
- Kirill Aleksandrovich Astrakhan, Executive Vice President for Company Organization
- Anna Vladimirovna Kulashova, Running Director for Russia and the Commonwealth of Impartial States (CIS)
The enhancement follows steps by the Commerce Office prohibiting Kaspersky from providing its program and other security expert services in America starting up July 20, 2024, citing nationwide security concerns. The firm has also been placed on the Entity Checklist.
Russia has reported the sales ban on Kaspersky program was a regular shift by the U.S. to stifle overseas opposition with American goods. Kaspersky has taken care of that it has no inbound links to the Russian government.
