After a small tease yesterday, Netflix just uncovered its subsequent challenge from renowned filmmaker David Fincher: VOIR, a assortment of visual essays about the love of cinema. The short teaser doesn’t tell us a lot, regrettably. But according to author and film critic Drew McWeeny, who’s working on a single episode of the collection, VOIR will function standalone explorations about distinct features of films.

“We’re not making an attempt to sell you just about anything, and we’re not interviewing any one about what Marvel movies they are doing,” McWeeny wrote in his newsletter, Formerly Unsafe. “We’re every single tackling a fully distinctive concept, something that intrigues us or upsets us or that has to do with our relationship to the motion pictures.”
Significantly like Adore, Death and Robots, the animated sci-fi sequence from Fincher and Tim Miller (Deadpool), VOIR episodes will array from 10 to 30 minutes. The series is also co-designed by David Prior, the director of the latest cult horror hit The Empty Person.
