The websites of many Swiss federal organizations and state-joined corporations were inaccessible on Monday, June 12, 2023, owing to a cyber-attack, Switzerland’s finance ministry has confirmed.
The Swiss authorities added that “specialists in the federal administration immediately seen the attack” and are “using measures to restore accessibility to sites and programs as speedily as probable.”
The dispersed denial-of-assistance (DDoS) attack was claimed by NoName, a pro-Russia threat group specializing in these assaults versus Ukrainian and European businesses.
The team also claimed a equivalent attack against the Swiss Parliament on June 7-8.

Switzerland’s federal federal government also stated on June 8 that it was investigating a ransomware attack on Xplain, a Swiss computer software vendor with ties with various federal government agencies, which includes the Swiss army, the Federal Business office of Law enforcement (Fedpol) and the nationwide railway enterprise (FSS).
Xplain beforehand confirmed the attack and reported it considered the original attack took put on June 3 and was carried out by the Play ransomware group, which is thought to be centered in Russia.
