The United States’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Company (CISA) has awarded two businesses $2m to create cybersecurity workforce schooling plans.
Award recipients NPower and CyberWarrior will use the income injection to carry cybersecurity education to the unemployed and to underemployed communities.
CISA announced the awards yesterday to coincide with the third 7 days of its Cybersecurity Summit, arranged on the topic, “Team Wonderful: The Cyber Workforce.” The awards are the first of their type for the company, whose mission features recruiting various cybersecurity expertise and setting up the workforce of the future.
