Toyota plans to devote approximately $3.4 billion to scale its battery creation abilities in the US, the automaker declared on Monday. As aspect of the financial investment, Toyota claims it will build a new business that will, with help from its Toyota Tsusho subsidiary, construct a battery manufacturing plant somewhere in the US. The enterprise expects to spend $1.29 billion into the facility by the end of 2031.
Toyota stated it would share details on the challenge, together with in which it plans to make the plant, in the upcoming.
