In 2018, the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance partnered with Google to combine its computer software platform and companies like Google Maps and Assistant into autos. Now, Renault Team (Renault, Dacia, Alpine and Mobilize) is growing that partnership to produce a “software package-described motor vehicle” (SDV) with Google primarily based on Android Automotive OS.
